***Long time listener, first time poster***
Attending the School of Jack since 2010. Thank you Jack, for providing us with the tools which we can put into practice, in our daily lives. I've been prepping my life daily, ever since.

Me:
I have resided between N. Austin & Georgetown, Texas for the past 5 years. Escaped from California, where I was born and raised. Great state up North, but Southern California is going to drag everyone into the ocean in my opinion. I digress.
33 yrs old. Married to my awesome wife with 3 amazing children. Family is mostly on board with this lifestyle.

Job:
Commercial Sales and Leasing for Longhorn Rentals in Austin, TX. (Give me a call if you ever need to rent a pickup truck or box truck. I will give TSP members a discount on the rentals.)

Goals:
To better myself as a Man, Husband, Father, Friend, and Patriot of Freedom.

I love to shoot. CHL holder. I love to Garden (Its one of the things that keeps me sane and connected to the earth). Jack of All, Master of None. Hi, I'm a grandmother and I run a housekeeping service to help support my growing self sufficient homestead. I feel that the more I can do for myself the better. I am into foraging also and I've always been prepared to survive as all my life my family has taught me how to hunt, FISH, figure out ways to treat sickness and wounds without rushing to the doctor. In the past few years I have learned so much more and look forward to learning with you all.

I live in the Midwest. I'm a business owner with a small acreage trying to move toward self-sufficiency with too little time, money and energy. I love to garden and want to get better at it.

I "discovered" Jack from a link from Survivalblog. I read it most days. I've learned a lot there but I like the ability to interact. I hope to learn a lot here.

Hello! I'm brand new to the forums and relatively new to TSP. I stumbled onto Jack being interviewed by Radical Personal Finance which I was binging on older episodes and decided to check out TSP. I got hook on listening to Jack from episode one and have been binging on him for the last 4 months. I've been open to prepping for a long time but never had a fire lit under my ass until TSP.

I'm slowly starting to get preps started, specifically food storage, water filtration and beginning to build up some physical silver among other things. I live in DC, or as I fondly refer to it, the viper's nest and work as an accountant. 30 year old, originally from NJ (I know, strike two). Living in the city has its challenges. In this town specifically, forget about owning firearms. Too much of a hassle. But we're planning to make our escape to Virginia next year and can hopefully find at least an acre with no HOA. 

The fortunate news, my wife is amazingly on board with living a more self-reliant/self-sufficient mindset, which I was a little surprised why. When I asked her why she's so cool with it she responded "i've watched my fill of dystopian movies, you don't need to convince me of anything" haha. Thanks, Hollywood! Anyway, I'm looking forward to interacting with this community and hopefully learn more. Cheers.

We have people from ALL walks of life here, including city folk (like me).  Make sure you check out the regional boards, too.  You'll find some areas of the forum may be inaccessible until you've made a certain number of posts.  Cuts down on the spammers, but you'll get that post count up faster than you would think.
