My new flashlight

No this is not a hand crank or shake it up to charge uber survival torch, and it does take batteries, however this is a great small super bright LED light that runs on a single common AA battery. It is called a  NiteCore SmartPD D10.

This light is roughly 3 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
Here are the published runtimes:

* Runtimes on one AA
Max: 130 lumens, 50 minutes
Min: 3 lumens, 45 hours or 1.9 days!

* Runtimes on one R14500 (protected only)
Max: 130 lumens, 80 minutes
Min: 5 lumens, 60 hours or 2.5 days!

I know everyone here has a battery powered flashlight as part of their gear. With the use of common batteries and good runtime with a bright 130 lumen output I personally feel this is a must have. The quality of this light is on par with the more expensive lights out there, and I know there are many who drink the Surefire Coolaid, me being one of them, but this light is worth every penny.

Youve got a great light. I have several nightcore and fenix lights and dollar for dollar you cant beat them.

DUDE!!!!  Nice light!!!  I like the infinitely variable output.  That's awesome!  Price is right too.

I am not familiar wit those lights  it looks very impressive. I will have to look into them. I am very impressed with the fenix lights. Coming from a guy that has every sure fire light made if I was pressed to spend my own money to buy lights I would be looking at some of these lights.
