It won't be tomorrow, it won't be in August but it should be in 2009 sometime in late fall early winter. Right now we have had over 660,000 down loads between June 28, 2008 and July 27, 2009. As you can see in the image below the growth is impressive and on a continuing uptick. This is really awesome and I want to thank all of you for helping to make it happen.

I will also point out with a smile this is ONLY the downloads via the feed, like iTunes, Juice, etc. People that just go strait to the site and directly download are not counted in these stats. Hence the real number of total downloads of TSP is much higher, well over 1 Million already. You guys rock!

That reminds me. I need to download today's podcast.

Sometimes I download through FeedBurner and other times straight from the site. Just depends on which computer I am on.

I can't believe that their are that many preppers out there, especially since I thought I was the only one for so long. I thank Jack for the Podcast, but I thank all of you posting here in the forums for the community. It is amazing.

People tend to realize when something being said is 'real'. Jack has a real message, and people hear it, understand it, and assimilate it into their lives. That starts a good trend. One that I like to see blossom even further.

Congrats to all the prepers that told friends about the podcast.
Jack's podcasts are informative, helpfull, and entertaining. But if all of you people had not told other people, Jack would be talking to himself for the last year.

Doing some statistical analysis today of our progress and wanted to update you guys on the quest for 1 Million Podcast Downloads, we are getting there. As of today the number is

881,262!

That is damn close to a quarter million more since I made the original post. With the growth curve and other things going on there is no doubt we will hit 1 million downloads in 2009. When we first started this things who would have ever thunk it?

The shows success makes me happy, very happy. Pride though? What I am proud of is you guys, the things I have seen explored and shared here just blow me away and with out you guys sharing the show it wouldn't have 5% of its success thus far.

Well we can look at this in one of two ways..

Either Jack's charisma and presentation coupled with our efforts to spread the word has payed off

or

The tin foil hat brigade is right and the world is headed straight for hell, people are realizing that in droves and desperate for information...

or maybe a little of both.. I know I am amazed the number of the survival shows on television lately..
