A dessicant pkg. might help. Two of the three bags I had I'd gotten on specials since I filled the bucket. The oldest bag was left from filling the buckets the second time. I've noticed that in the buckets the sugar doesn't clump as quickly or even maybe as hard, of course I can open them and break in up before it get brick hard. I haven't had a problem with ants getting into sugar bags on the shelf just bugs in flour on the shelf or in the bucket, eggs already there in the flour probably.
