I actually bought two of them. For storage, they work GREAT. However, getting the lids on and off and pouring is difficult. The shape of the container should be flat across with the lid protruding from the top, but they have the middle portion with the lid embedded.

You can get a replacement lid that does have a water spout attached to make pouring easier.

I have about 10 of these.  My family has several that have lasted many years.  We bring water up to our cabin in them.  1 or 2 can last a weekend with 2-4 people.  You can get them on amazon, at Fleet Farm stores or other brick and mortar places.

Looks like they come in 7, 6, and 4 gallons. The Vent cap screws in, instead of a plug that can easily come out.  And the spigot is reversible on the cap for storage. 8 of them stack into a cube nicely.  I wouldn't want to go over 2 high due to weight though.
