Don't know. The price is all over the board around here, like groceries there is lots of competition. I've seen one place advertising $1.99, I think that may be the "cash" price game some places are playing.

OPEC is meeting soon to discuss cutting production further but a lot depends on what Russia does. The people who went long on oil have been slaughtered by the slide. So we are temporarily the beneficiary of both abundent physical supplies and lack of speculators. If Russia does not go along, the $50/barrel support could be breached. Also, if socialist government of Venezuela falls to a market friendlier one than prices could really plummit as oil companies reinvest and that source ramps up again. But it could easily go the other way too. Net, very hard to call.

We get our gas at Sam's Club at $2.75 and just a few miles away a Chevron is selling it for 3.25.
Prices are as Redman says "All over the board".

At SR 46 & SR 415 near Sanford, FL, Circle K/Shell appeared to be at 2.31, while on the other corner Racetrac was 2.37.
Odd because they are usually the same. I may have mis-read one of the signs, tho.
Much better than the 2.75-2.80 earlier in the year.

Oldest was here from Dallas, and said there was a station down there with a $1.99 sign out.

Local Shell is $2.09, Kroger will lower their price soon. They follow each other. I've seen $1.99, $1.88, etc. around here but if you look close that is a cash price. Any kind of card bumps it up 10/15 cents or more.

Bought gas Tuesday fo $2.00
Good thing too, as I had five 5 gallon cans empty. Been using the tractor fairly steady processing wood, clearing brush.
I keep about 8-9 cans, and was getting low. I like plenty on hand to use in the gen if need be.

Gas running anywhere from 2.18 down to 2.06 depending on what gas station you go to here in VA.

Russia and OPEC agreed to cut backs in production. They are aiming to keep to $50-$60 level. Qatar just quit OPEC so that is in play too.
