The TN classes run from $45.00 to over $75.00 depending on where you do it. The class is mandated by the state to be 8 hours long. It must have class room and range portions. Classroom consists of Law (covering selfdefense and places off limits), Concealed carry, Cleaning, Marksmanship, Selection of a defencive fire arm and ammo..... The range portion consists of firing at 3,7,and 15 yards. Only 33 out of 48 hits on a man size target are required to pass.
The permit fee its self is $115.00. This fee includes photo, finger print, and background check.
