We have been using that week through normal rotation for a year or so now for making wheat bread. You'd be surprised how much wheat you go through just for sandwiches. Anyway, I am a member and we can and purchase our own.
I have never seen any bad product. I was a little surprised to see what I think were dirt clods in the pinto beans, but this is apparently a normal part of the process and the pinto beans are supposed to be soaked first anyway. Before being canned, it arrives in plain-jane bags, most with markings from the LDS church, I presume from the LDS church farms or perhaps acquired on commodity markets. The apples (I'm not sure if you can get those online) are or were TreeTop brand.
