2002 Dodge 2500 Generator?

I heard somewhere that there are newer p/ups that can have an upgrade added that can turn them into generators.

1. Anyone else heard of this?

2. For you technical types (Millarized), how hard do you think it'd be to use my 02 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesal as a generator?

3.  Anyone know of resources to check?

I havent seen any details on any generators on the new cummins, so it leads me to believe its an inverter not a generator. If so you can add an inverter to anything way cheeper than getting it from an OEM. However for a while Cummins offered a REPTO (rear engine power take off) on the C blocks(not avalable in the pick ups). That could be used to power a small bolt on generator, or betterr yet possibily a HYD pump with a remote mount generator up to about 15kw.
