Thanks for the spam reports

(1/2) > >>

Mr. Bill:
Thank you to all of you who use "report to moderator" to tell us about spam.

The spam flavor-of-the-week is report-writing services, maybe because the school year has just started.  We get quite a variety.  Some of them are obviously bots (and poorly-programmed bots).  Some are more sophisticated -- e.g. a spammer who opens two or three accounts and has an entire conversation with himself that ends with a product or website recommendation.

The moderator staff is grateful for your help in identifying spam, because we don't always read every new post ourselves.  Thanks again.

Stwood:
Yea but, I'm keeping the Barbecue Bacon flavored Spam to myself, no matter how much Red and Carl begs for it.

Redman:

 :jaw-drop: They got such stuff?

Stwood:
Yes. Bacon and Barbecue. Don't remember if the 2 flavors are combined though.

I keep eyeballing the cans (Dollar Tree) has an off brand, same size as Spam.
I keep getting the evil eye every time I pick one up for the cart.  :badgarden:

I would think it should make good long term food.

Mr. Bill:
This topic just got a spam post!

The current invasion is from India (although possibly orchestrated from Russia), and most posts contain a buried spam link.  My guess is that a "search engine optimization" company is posting these links and clicking them a lot to defraud their own customers.

Keep reporting that spam!  Thanks!
