I thought I was the only one to carry smokes in the truck and my BOB. In the past I have mentioned it several places and people go Ape $hit about it. I figure, you can't shoot what you can't see......

awesome, If I was a LEO I'm sure that bag would come in handy but since I'm not I'll just go for the training and the keychain rescue tool...very good idea

Each state has its own rules. TN is GTG.

Smokes can be difficult to find, I've looked.  Here's a link to a firework website that sells kits for making your own.  As far as I know, you don't need any licenses for these kits, and it makes a bunch.

http://www.skylighter.com/mall/kits.asp

I've been very tempted to get one of these kits and probably will get one in the not so distant future.  The only thing I would caution on is that the kit comes with potassium chlorate which is definitely one of those items that don't necessarily look good to have in your possession so you might want to mix up the batch as soon as you get it.   :-\  One down side is that they are fuse lit, not pull pin and throw types.   :-[

Can I order OC and flash bangs with my military ID, or do those need to be shipped to a department or armory?

Great products!  I'll be ordering some stuff very soon!

Smokes and OC's can be ordered by an individual I believe but flashbangs are agency purchase only and are regulated by the ATF.

Matt

Excellent review, James! This bag is going on my short list, for sure.

I'll only be carrying a pistol, so the 'Pals Front' version of the bag will probably work better for me - http://bit.ly/38zTZ
