hello i live in the fond du Lac area and they just past a no smoking ban in bar and restaurants within city limits. I was wondering what some other Wi residents think about this issue or if they 've had to undergo the some ban.
My personal opinion about smoking is that i don't like it and don't want to be around it, but i also think that it's a business owners choice as to wether or not they want to allow smoking. If people don't like it they won't come to your establishment and you will lose money/go out of business.

Hey, madison, wisconsin here, orignally milwaukee area. Yeah, I was against the smoking ban here in madison because it should be the business owners choice as well as the patrons choice to go to those particular places. I will say as a nonsmoker I don't mind getting home from a night out and not smelling like smoke.

What's up everybody?

I'm in Madison and Jack's podcast is pretty eye opening, If you Wisconsin guys are interested in organizing and discussing or even meeting up to BBQ or plan let me know. I'm kind of new to this survivalist mentality but I'm starting to realize how useful it is. I have some useful skills, I was a Marine for five years so I can handle most weapons safely and I try not to bitch about dumb shit and I've been in stressful situations. I'm thinking about setting up a network of like minded individuals to help each other out. Reply to this post if you're interested.

Hey, glad to hear from a fellow marine, semper fi! Also in Madison area as well. Hopefully we get some more region four listeners in the area to set up some kind of bugout get together. It would be great to have a network of like-minded people in wisconsin to share ideas and help each other out.

Central WI here, moved up in 1995. I cam across Jack's podcast by accident and have loved it ever since. Anyone else ever feel kinda overwhelmed by how far behind you are on the whole Prep lifestyle?

Oh God yes, just started our first set of raised bed gardens this year, always had a garden just not much from it. Gonna try Jack's version this year, Though it burns to see everyone down south's pictures of their gardens already while We had Frost last night!

Lucky, I've always hunted and had about a month of food on hand. Still trying to build the stores up.

Got a long way to go, and sadly probably a short time to get there.

I hear that, I live in an apartment with a limited budget but every inch counts or every extra can, i suppose

I tried planting strawberries per the members support brigade and I'm thinking wisconsin might not be the best environment to do that but the potatoes might work
