Notice the smoke and haze?
« on: July 06, 2015, 03:32:18 PM »
Canadian wildfires are causing MN to be covered with smoke. [For those in the west, we're not used to this.] It's not too bad but had me driving around the neighborhood looking for housefires.

Cold in the winter, smoke in the summer. Thanks, Canada!  ;) Hope everybody up there is safe and sound.

I started noticing it too on Friday.  Today seems to be the worst.

I do amateur astronomy in WI. and the smokey haze is real apparent here (too bad, Saturn is amazing right now). I just heard on the radio that there is a pollution alert in MN; reduce driving, no open fires, health advisories.
