I'm in Springfield. Getting ready to start some seeds for a hopefully amazing garden this year. This is my first post.

Welcome! Had to look up Gasconade county. It seems we have quite a few show-me-staters here but we're spread out.

Hey, would any of my fellow Missourians please post the date/county you first find your Spring morels?  I'm going to start looking this weekend. Today's warm-up should be helpful.

I used to live in SEMO and was wondering if anyone had any more info on the man arrested in Butler County for selling firearms. Other people I know who still live in SEMO say he was a great guy and very honest.  Feel free to PM me if you don't want to speak out publicly--or we could start a new thread.

They have a topic started on semo.net forum. Him and his brother were always fair with me. Can't depend on the news. Hopefully just harassment.

Hey everybody,

If you're interested in meeting others interested in Permaculture there will be an informal meet up on October 18th at the city market.  Hope to meet you there.

We are going to be heading up for a couple visits to the area. Looking at maybe the first or second week of November. Maybe we could link up and you could help show us some areas around there.

Sounds good.  I work on Fort Leonard Wood. Are you coming up for a school?

Well the closer to Ft. Wood you get...the more land prices increase. You can find a ton of realtors online. I have used this one personally when I bought my house and can recommend her. Can't speak for any other ones. She can help you find something or recommend someone else.

Here is a facebook group with some local real estate that I follow also.

Awesome, thanks. I plan on being out from Ft. Leonard Wood anyways, probably 20-40 miles, the Tricare area stretches pretty far.

I'm in the Saint Louis Metro area.  Always looking for like minded people to chat with, and would like to join or organize a bi-annual gathering (camping/hiking trip?) where people can just get to know one another and strengthen this community.

I'm just outside Cuba, MO. My parent have a 10 acre plot about 15 minutes south of Leasburg. If you've never heard of it, their one call to fame is Onondaga Cave. Its really beautiful, if you haven't been there before. Plus, the area is littered with caves. They'd make good shelters in a pinch.
