I am having to cancel some of my work and home plans today. Snow to the valley floor.

I am hearing anywhere from 3-10" and we probably have an inch already. It has not been snowing long either.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches, with
  localized amounts up to 10 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...In Washington, Willapa Hills. In Oregon, Coast Range
  of Northwest Oregon and Central Coast Range of Western Oregon.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM PDT this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Expect
  reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The
latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be
obtained by calling 5 1 1.

We got lucky again. They are saying now for us here in Suffolk VA it will now be only some rain. That as well will not last long.

Well... all my plum, apricot, nectarine and peach trees have already bloomed and the fruit is starting to set... apples, pears, cherries are all close behind. I'm just hoping that we don't get a late frost again...

We got hit with a foot last week here in northern NV. Of course it's all gone in the city now (gotta love the desert), but the Sierras still have a good amount.

Here in MD, we got about 12" of snow yesterday.  Today, it reached about 50F.

I don't recall ever having snow like this on the 1st day of spring.

Well, Hear it is April 3ed and they are calling possible snow flurries and rain. Will be very cold as well. Still to far out to tell for sure but this is slowing down my garden plans.
