One of the first things I saw on there was Amaranth, which is something I've been thinking of growing for a long time. It's very nutritious & the whole plant is edible.

Nice thing about amaranth is that most people don't recognize it as a wild edible. Which means that you can spread the seed around your bugout locations and have an emergency food source already on site.
I have planted some near a couple of fishing spots I go to as well. Might as well make one trip do double duty.

Good idea, hadn't thought of that. Spread a little around the wild places you frequent & let it do a little spreading on it's own.
