Not sure if this is the correct forum. If not, I apologize, and if you can help me post this correctly, I'll edit/move it.

Looking for a Dallas area prepper I met at one of Jack's work days. Tom from Greenville, I lost your number. I Googled aquaponics greenville, tx but couldn't find your place.

Anyway, I'm looking to connect with some other Dallas area TSP'ers for two things:
1) I've got two roosters in my flock of a dozen birds. I've got to get rid of them. I can dispatch them and turn them into chicken and dumplin's; I have before, but I don't have the time to do it right now, and the roo's are driving me (and the hens) bugshit crazy. If anyone wants a couple of roos for the dinner plate, let me know.
2) I'd like to try and host a workday at my house, even an instructional class. I want to lay out swales in my backyard using a water level. I physically cannot hold both ends of the water level. I need some help. I can perform all the digging myself. Of course, if a group wants to make a day of it, I'll gladly feed and re-fresh everybody.

Any thoughts on how to coordinate this?
I live in Colleyville, near NRH & Keller.

I want to schedule a work day/ food & beer event to layout & dig some swales. I'm waiting for cooler weather.

I live in Colleyville, which is mid-cities. Closer to Ft. Worth than Dallas.

Hi fellow Texans. I am in central Texas, near Temple, and have been a TSP member for a good while. I just haven't been active on the forum for a long time. I would be interested in some kind of meetup with people near me, and just communicating and enjoying the camaraderie. I am female, so I would prefer that other women be present at any meetup I attend. (Not exclusively women, just others there). In any case, I would like to be more active on this forum. Just be patient with me if I mess up and don't post something properly, as I am just learning my way on here.

welcome to the forum! We all started out with "our first post" at some point

Its a good group. Even if you were to post something in the wrong place the Admins are pretty cool about fixing it and making it look pretty.

There is a meetup in Dallas that is lead by a women. Good group, I make it to the meeting about every other week. But sounds like it might be 2.5hr drive from where you are at...

2 1/2 hours east of Dallas. Near Paris, Texas.

Moved to Llano County, Texas from Flagstaff, AZ in August of 2014 . Loving life in the Hill Country.
