After being asked a single question on the emails by the press, Joe Biden called off all campaign events for him and Kamala and is hiding in his basement.

Update.  After congressional Democrats were in a panic from Biden's surprise retreat from the campaign trail,  Kamala is being dispatched to support their fundraising events.

After being asked a single question on the emails by the press, Joe Biden called off all campaign events for him and Kamala and is hiding in his basement.  His cognitive decline was very apparent as he struggled to respond.  They are using the next four days to try to get him to speak coherently for the 90 minutes.

Biden calls lid on campaign events until after debate with Trump

Back into the basement he goes.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is back at his Wilmington, Del., home and will not return to the campaign trail until after his face-off with President Trump at Thursday night’s debate.

The former vice president landed in his home state Sunday evening after campaigning in North Carolina, after which the Biden campaign called a lid.

Picked the last of the peppers. I pulled the plants even though they are still flowering. Freeze will probably do them in in a few days.

Hunter Biden laptop, emails 'not part of some Russian disinformation campaign'
'There is no intelligence that supports that,' Director of National Intelligence Ratcliffe says

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Monday said that Hunter Biden’s laptop “is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” amid claims from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff suggesting otherwise.

Ratcliffe, during an exclusive interview on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” was asked about the allegations from Schiff, D-Calif., who over the weekend said that the Hunter Biden emails suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had knowledge of, and was allegedly involved in, his son’s foreign business dealings.

“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”

He added: “Let me be clear: the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.”

Ratcliffe went on to say that it is “simply not true.”

It's funny you say that.  I was talking to a LEO at the range yesterday and his perspective was that the defund the police movement was not to eliminate police but to replace them with secret police who are not beholden to the police oath and do not follow due process.  Yanking licenses in this way definitely violates due process and is unconstitutional.

That's messed up but makes sense. You should post any articles on that if you have some. I had not heard of that but I like to have stuff to counter the masks are no big deal narrative

Homesteading and Self Reliant Living / Thoughts on Alaska
« Last post by surfivor on October 19, 2020, 03:44:23 AM »
I had thought maybe I wanted to live in Alaska when I was a teenager but later in life I thought it was much too cold and too many dangerous bears. I don't really like being isolated out in the wilderness either or so I thought

With this covid stuff going on and uncertainty where it all leads to, I have been researching Alaska living as a kind of distraction or just something else to look at because I get tired or depressed from the political and covid news.

I do think that Alaska has the best opportunity for living off the land to a greater extent. There seems to be plenty of big fish and game animals.

I would definitely want a snowmobile, maybe a small motor boat. I guess in the dark part of winter maybe you read books. I think I would want to live close to some small village or maybe make some friends to go out into the Bush. I don't know if I would want to spend too much time by myself in the deep wilderness unless I could get used to it. With this covid thing and other unknowns in out world maybe even being lonely out in the wilderness would be preferable so who knows for sure. I mean how far can this covid and covid mentality go or something similar I have to wonder but it seems potentially maddening if you ask me

So I guess what I am asking is does anyone have any other ideas. The Wilson 1000 is to tall to be practical to be on top of the center of my roof. Does anyone have a better idea or maybe the little will is supposed to be sufficient.

Through diligent testing and research, it has been proven that Berkey water filters remove viruses to purification standards, pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites to undetectable levels, and harmful or unwanted chemicals to below detectable levels. Until these test results were made public, words like non-detectable were seldom if ever used to describe the abilities of a water filter to remove harmful pollutants.

The filters in the Berkey system not only took the industry by storm with these unheard of benefits but also added the ability to reduce toxic heavy metals such as lead and mercury without removing the beneficial and nutritional minerals needed to support a healthy body and mind. Review and compare the ability of the unique Berkey Water Filter to Brita, Aquasana, Pur, Katadyn or bottled water and see for yourself what we have to offer and why we dominate the portable water filter industry.
