Heirloom ice cleats?

<< < (2/2)

kayak karl:
i have been using these http://www.icespike.com/ for three years now. hiking, construction and walking dog. we have slate sidewalks in town and these have been life savers. cheap and they don't damage shoes, but don't walk on the hardwood or vinyl floors. :)

i used Yak-Traks and other cleats with rubber on them and they all failed after 10-100 miles hiking.

i add http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/Snow%20Gear/Crampons/CMI%20Instep%20Crampon/Owner%20Review%20by%20arnold%20peterson/ for more extreme hikes

Scottman:
thank you!!
