I just bought two shotguns today here at the Soviet Socialist Republic of New Jersey. I think I got a good deal but would appreciate other forum members opinions and advice. I had to get my NJ Firearms License renewed because I moved from one town to another back in November. It only took 4 months for the approval of the change of address. I'm sure some of you reading this in other parts of the USA will chuckle and maybe cry about this. When I asked the local town police why a resident of the state of NJ needs to reapply for a State Firearms license when only moving from one town to another he couldn't really explain why. Of course I know the reason. It's all about the money. They want to get the fees for the application and processing of the license anytime you make a change.
Ok so regardless, I got a Mossberg 500 28" 12g shotgun for $350 and a Stevens 301 20g break open for $180. I think it was a good deal overall considering that inventory levels are so low at the local shops in the USSRNJ.
One trend that is quite surprising is all my liberal friends that were always against guns have suddenly started asking me about how to get a license. Maybe the seeds of freedom and independance are starting to sprout in the deserst of their brain washed minds. One can only hope.
