Reviews are good for me because they provide feedback as to whether I'm on the right track with my writing and to some extent my instructing. They're good for others because they provide some indication as to whether a book will be of use to you and worth spending money on.

I can recommend each of the blogs these were published on as well. Different approaches and different information on both of them, but good information in my opinion as well.
