LOL, You probably have a more realistic view of privacy in this world - privacy? Fugedaboutit! I know that my personal information is already out there, but I don't have to like it (I blame my military training in OpSec.)

What sort of specific problems do you refer to ? I just looked at some articles on zoom security. Is someone going to record the meeting so that it turns out it's not private and then who knows what happens with the recording ? I have no idea, but I haven't had the impression that I am at risk but if if there is a specific risk concern then I would like to know.

Is someone going to get audio of what you said in some meeting and then decide to give you a communist based social credit score based on that such as somewhat conservative christian == bad ?

I am in another group that uses something similar to zoom, it's called 8x8. It's been a little flaky at times but not too bad

No, I don't worry about someone recording my meeting, but someone selling my personal ID to identity thieves does worry me. I don't have a lot in my bank, but I would like to keep what is there, and identity theft is a very hard crime from which to recover.

Although, now that you mention it - I really do not want to have someone massage my speech to show that "conservative christian == bad."  ;D

FaceBook is one of the worst offenders, when it comes to security and loss of privacy. I'm not interested in FB (or anyone else) getting any more information about me.

Yep, not surprised. I had heard that China passed a law mandating that ALL Chinese citizens MUST spy for the country, whenever they get the opportunity. In other words, if China says that a citizen had an opportunity to spy, and the citizen did not, then that person can be tried for treason.
