Packing food in the spring/summer - Humidity issues?


I am just starting to pack food in mylar in buckets.  After reading about humidity issues I am thinking I should have bought and used 50 lb grain bags and bulk food in February after a nice cold stretch when humidity both indoors and out is very very low.  Now that it's warmer and more humid what do we need to do on the food storage end to ensure low moisture % iin the food when packed?

Throw in some desiccant packages or maybe a few tablespoons of rice. Anyone have any other suggestions?
