Sierra Western Slope plant guide needed

I live in Sacramento, Ca
I am trying to find a book or field guide for edible plants for this region.
The Sierra Western Slope.
Have not had any success yet.
Most of the ones Ive seen are to broad in locale, like plants of the west.
I want something specific.
Any help is appreciated.

I've always used the Peterson Field guide for Pacific.  I've had to use the one for flowers as well as trees but they have been adequate.  I lived for 20 years in the Sacramento Area and they were okay.  I also have a field guide for the Lassen Area but it is not as extensive.  And a small booklet for Sierra plants and flowers but not comprehensive at all.
