GSG-5 Carbine and Pistol

Patriot:Ex Machina:
A good friend of mine called me today and informed me that he had purchased a GSG-5 pistol.
After work I went by and checked that puppy out. I was pretty well impressed.
We put about 500 rounds of Winchester .22 through it, and other than a few minor hiccups, I was pretty impressed with it.
I was wondering how many of our members have either the pistol or the Carbine version of this little HK clone, what do you think of it, any pros or cons. What little time I spent with it, I have to say I like it. I just wondered what the rest of you good folks thought.
Let's hear from ya.

DeltaEchoVictor:
They look like fun & most of the reviews I've heard have said the same thing.

A buddy of mine has a couple hanging on his gun shop wall, but I've yet to talk him out of one. ;D

James Yeager:
Nobody has taken one through a class yet but they seem to run well.

Patriot:Ex Machina:
That's really one of the main things I was wondering about.
I was thinking that besides a great plinking gun, it might be a good gun to use in a tactical training course, since .22LR is still halfway affordable. I'd like to know if anyone has put one through "hell and high water" so to speak.

I found this review on the GSG-5:
