That is nothing more than AR PORN..... And I LIKE IT !!!
This is my Hi-Point 995. This is just fun. Its ugly, but fun. I love the sights on this thing. If I can get the mag to stop jamming then it would be very awesome.Push comes to shove and you still can't get it to work, send it my direction and I'll play with it....teach it the warriors way, send it back to you potty trained.

And my favorite. My Ruger P95 9 mm.Great little pistola & highly underated. I bought my wife one of these several years ago. Never a hiccup with that one, best $300 I ever spent value wise.

I did a double take on that 10/22 myself. Never seen one with wood that nice.
Hey all,Psssst....I'm in love with your black rifle.
Here are my toys:
Springfield Armory SOCOM II with Leupold Mark IV CQB (looking for more mags at the moment)
Theoben Eliminator .25 cal (small game and endless fun)
Mossberg 500 12 gauge with sidesaddle
Glock 23 .40 cal (with about 12 extra high-cap mags)
And a whole bunch of ammo for each

cajunkraut, what do you think of that XDM in 40? I'm loving my new XDM in 9. The trigger is the best I've ever felt on a striker fired pistol. Thinking about picking up a Streamlight TLR-1 and using it as a primary home defense gun. If you haven't taken a look already, check out the videos on http://www.springfield-armory.com/ Rob Leatham is one helluva salesman.
Okay...I have to ask... wth? Funny pic, though! =-DAn ode to "I Am Legend" perhaps?

OJ, how long have you had your AR-15 set up this way? The reason I ask is I had one set up virtually identical to yours (see my post on the first page of this thread). I found out after having it this way for quite a while and shooting the piss out of it, just how heavy and unbalanced that beast was with the standard weight YHM full length rail on a carbine. I have since taken mine back to the standard FSB and put on a set of Magpul MOE handguards, so the plastic would match the buttstock. I am sure you are well aware the YHM handguard weighs in at nearly 23 oz by itself, and I also had the trim ring installed, probably another ounce or two. If you like it this way, and plan on building another...I have a full length handguard I will gladly sell you....
Oh by the way, I really do like the looks of it, hell I had one myself. I wish I had stuck to black like yours though...mine was the first and LAST one I built for myself with a non-black color scheme....but I am building a pink one for the wife.
Millerized...I'll mow your yard for it. 8) Beggars can't be choosy.
This is my 20 gauge 1956 Mossberg. I would like to sand this down and make it look nice. So far, I love this thing!

Welcome to the forum JN. +1for your beautiful family.
The best firearms pics are the ones with dead animals.
Taking that badger had nothing to do with eating and everything to do with keeping the farmer's cattle from breaking their ankles in the holes they dig. I thought about eating it, but I just couldn't bring myself to doing it. :-\ A couple friends of mine have, and they said it's tough and not very good at all. Suppose if I really had to, I'd eat it.
I'll probably have PETA knocking on my door now. ::)

Here's the latest -
Another IED hit that noone hears about in the news anymore. Iraq is still dangerous and even more complex than my last visit.

No offense to the thousands of online gun pics featuring bad lighting, the ugly carpet and at least 1 bare foot - any gun pic is a good gun pic.

When were you in the 2nd ACR? I was Alpha (Avengers) 82 - 84 in Bindlach, though we spent most of our time on the border operating out of Camp Gates and patrolling the TZP (Tri-Zonal-Point between East Germany, West Germany, and Czechoslovakia).
I was in Echo (Eagles) from 81 to 85. So it looks like our tours overlap. We (2d Squadron) patrolled from the TZP all the way back up to Kronach (Sectors 9-18) out of Camp Hof. So do know still know the definition of a FRAGREP and a FRAGREP LARUM BELL? Ah those were the days! Seemed like hell while you were going through a bunch of it, but now that I'm older I look back on those days with fondness. I ETS'ed after doing my whole 4 year enlistment in the 2d ACR then a while after getting back to the states I enlisted in the National Guard and served another 6 years in various units, but in my heart I'm still a dragoon! Fiddler's Green!
Did you have that freaking Dual-Tex camo job on your tracks? Remember our "Border" tabs on our Ranger caps?
