I don't care so long as the final number is "more"
We are more resilient with some portion of the population buying chicken feed rather than eggs.

good point. And chickens are addictive - sit on a chair in the late evening and watch them clean the freshly mowed lawn; so relaxing!

Colorado Springs Gazette article of backyard chickens in The Springs. Very positive with the appropriate caveats for people to not get into it casually. I think it captured how they are also a form of interaction for quarantined people, not just an egg source.
