Full forum access?

Not sure what the required post count is to gain access to the locked boards but hopefully I am close. Is there any chance that in the future a paid MSB membership would allow full access?

No chance that a paid MSB membership will allow full access.

The MSB is a complete separate entity from the forum.

Keep participating and posting, the other boards will open for you when you get to the required number of posts.

Some of the boards were locked? I guess my habit of compulsive posting is good for something

There are a quite a few reasons, but it basically boils down to this being a preparedness board & not a debate board for folks to push whatever their pet agenda might be.  Whether it be politics, religion, save this or save that...we're here to learn & teach & share in the modern survivalist philosophy.

We found that when the politics, & patriotism boards were open we were pulling in members who's main interest was coming here & spending the majority of their time picking political fights.  This isn't that kind of forum so we limited the access to those boards.  It's takes quite a lot of posts to open those boards, which weeds out the folks who are only here for a particular reason.

The other boards are locked to new members because they were the boards that were getting spammed the most.

I'd like to echo what TW said.

Being a member of the MSB does not entitle anyone to any special privileges on the forum.  They are indeed separate entities & have nothing to do with each other.

Yep, got it the first time, but thanks for the response. It wasn't so much a request as it was an idea. Obviously a bad one. Thanks for clearing things up.
