New Inline Muzzle Loaders: Lead Ball and Sabot Projectiles

I am new to Black Powder.
So far I have just shot my New Inline Rifle with the Sabot Hunting Projectile.

If your an inline shooter any info on shooting 50 Cal Lead Ball in a Modern Rifle?
The 2 guys I shot Black Powder with knew nothing about using things other then Factory Projectiles.

 If you can't use lead round ball with an inline, you can always pick up a decent Hawken used for about $150.00 for target practice... And you might get bitten by the traditional bug

Us traditional guys always patch the lead ball when we shoot it  & that might be an issue with an inline.
