~~All I can say is~~ What a great spark/fire and boost in confidence. I ordered after the first mention of this product--thanks for the mention(Jack) and hard work to produce this dvd + documents!

So many products and services are great, but this is a path to true sustainability.

Agreed! I don't get blown away easily by stuff. After all the study, research, etc it is rare that I just go, holly crap, oh wow, why didn't I think of that, several times in a new DVD. I bought almost every DVDI could get my hands on about permaculture and most is out of Australia so I paid more in shipping then for the product! Absolutely NOTHING beats this. Nothing I have seen anyway. There are better "A/V productions" and more polished productions but as for things I can actually use, as for understanding exactly what to do. This is the best I have seen thus far.

It's very interesting. (Parts of are graphic; butchering, dogs eating entrails, etc.)
Might want to give a viewing without the kiddos the first time.

I received and thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. I have gone through it once and now need to sit down and re-watch each section again to absorb all the information that is presented. If you haven't picked up a copy yet, then you are missing out. Absolutely fantastic!!!!!

This video was like information overload(In a good way.) I had to pause it periodically just to digest things that were said and shown. I would love to see more. Each section could probably expanded into its own DVD.

Excellent DVD. Took the DVD to my parent's in Virginia for Christmas. Watched it with them. Put up a greenhouse and chicken coop at their farm this past year. Confirmed some of the lessons learned over this past year.

Got the DVD a couple weeks ago and I must say it is worth every penny and then some. I haven't even had time to check out the contents of the CD-rom that came with it yet either. It is filled with knowledge and is very motivating.

I got my DVD last week and watched it right away. I was very very impressed. It was so much information to take away. I was worried that there would not be much I could use because it was made in Texas and I am in Alaska so the climactic differences are huge, but my fears were layed to rest as soon as I watched it. I am sure it will take a few times to really get all the info from it.

I got the DVD about a week ago. It was awesome to actually see what could be accomplished in such a small area. I would have to be starving to skin a rabbit for food. It makes me wish I learned hunting skills when I was younger. My meat has always come from the grocery store. All the info on the CD will take a while to absorb. This is well worth the cost plus shipping. Thank you Marjory!

After all the great reviews, I felt compelled to order one. Just did!

I feel like I can identify with this, because I want to do the exact same things with our family. My wife and 2 kids should be able to relate, too (except for maybe the rabbit butchering section).

I received my order very quickly and immediately rushed to watch this. I am totally impressed by the content of "Food Production Systems for A Backyard or Small Farm" and have not even got into the "Bonus Resource CD." My wife and I have been developing our property over the past 3 years and regret we didn't have this DVD from the beginning. The sections on Water collection and orchards are especially helpful for us and there is plenty of material here to study and review. I highly recommend this DVD for anyone new to homesteading or food production.
