I was out on the Mopac recently and grabbed some plums. We got 3 1/2 jars of Jam and about 3 gallons of wine. Although the wine is making me nervous. It isn't visibly fermenting - but it does smell fine. Guess I'll just have to relax and have a home brew cherry mead I made this spring...

The plums didn't look very healthy to me. Do you know if there was any disease going around or something?

Neighbors gave us a bunch of tomatoes and cucumbers. So I should have enough salsa and pickles for football season! It was my first time doing both, hopefully they come out good.

Is leather working your primary business?

No diseases I know of anyway. Mine were really good.
I wish I had thought of plum wine! Next year!
