Just moved to the Fredericksburg area a couple weeks ago.  I have never been real active on the forums, have been active on Zello for 3 or so years.  Most of the posts here are a couple years or more older.  I imagine some people have moved on and more have moved in.  Anyone in the area that would like to get together and teach me some of the local plants, places to hang out, fish maybe hunt, etc. would be appreciated.

As far as open carry, I do every once n awhile more as an exercising of my right to do so.

Howdy Virginians
I moved to central VA away from the coast, flooding, hurricanes, traffic, military bases, crime & now live in Lynchburg.
Very happy with the move & it's been conducive to my prepping too.
No more salty clay soil. I had been trying to garden for years- working the soil etc.. with weak results.
I'm really excited to see how this Spring goes!

Hey all... Long time listener and off-and-on again board lurker.

I just moved to the FT. Lee area and will be here for a few months.  Just looking to make contact with folks in the area.  Hoping to find a source for local vegetables and eggs, advice on places to go/don't go and general contacts in the case of emergency.

I am from the Suffolk area. Wanting to move to my grandparents old homestead in Lynchburg, VA. Need to get away from the military bases around here and yes hurricanes, though we have been very blessed so far on those. To close to ocean as well. Maybe about an hours drive to VA Beach ocean front.
