I came on these during my internet travels-

BBBB =  (the 4 firstaid B's) Breathing, Bleeding, Breaks and Burns. (order of diagnosis and treatment for casualties)
NESW = Never Eat Shredded Wheat. (method of remembering points of compass in clockwise motion)
SSSSSS = (the 6 stealth S's) Sound, Shape, Shine, Shadow, Smell, Silhouette. -
i.e.- Dont make unnecessary SOUND or noise
Break up your SHAPE with camouflage or cover
Dont let your kit items SHINE in the sun
Stay in SHADOWS
Dont use SMELLY perfumed soaps, aftershave, don't smoke, and take care with camp fires because  the cooking smells (and the smoke) will give you away.
Stay off the hilltops and ridgelines so you dont stand out as a SILHOUETTE

And even for the military, some of these are different depending on where you served.  For example, the R in FUBAR was Recognition when I was in Germany back in 89.  But the flyboys at McCord AFB in Washington in 92 (Bunch of great guys by the way) used Reality.
