Rear bench seat install
« on: June 02, 2017, 07:03:57 AM »
I just bought a used 2002 Ford E350 passenger van.  But it never had a rear bench seat (not mounting brackets in the floor or seat belts on the wall).  I'm looking to install a 4-seater bench.

It seems the best spots to buy them are either on Ebay or potentially a junk yard.

Has anyone done this before?
How would I find out what model years would be compatible with mine?

Pretty much any year 1992 on, for sure, and probably back to the 80's.  The brackets changed, but the mounting holes didn't.  The seat belts changed, too, so you need all the parts from roughly the same year.

They are harder to find than you hope.  There are a gazillion vans in junkyard but 99.99% are cargo vans.
