Canned Food Storage - for selling
Billie D:
Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, I searched the forum and couldn't find anything.
I'm toying with the idea of building and selling can rotation systems (small shelf style, and large upright) and storage bins for potato/opinions, etc (the type I remember our grandmas having).
The thought being, it's always good to have a little side hustle, it'd be a way to play in the garage and make a little side money. We have several "Junk in then Trunk" style sales in the area, and Craigslist.
Has anyone tried, and had nay luck doing something like this? I'm a sucker for any kind of storage/organization type stores, and love the idea of maybe getting someone new into putting up some food.
Thoughts?
LvsChant:
sounds like a good idea if you have a really super design and they are reasonably priced... depending on where you live, this type of item would possibly appeal to more than just homesteading/prepper types, too.
Stwood:
Yes. Build several samples, prototypes.
Find you a place that will carry them, or sell for you.
Stwood:
Or, build them kit style, so you can ship them.
Billie D:
Good idea! Thanks guys!
