What Every Day Cary item have survived a trip through the washer and dryer ?
My six foot tape measure, pen light and a cigarette x USB port power supply.
I love my cargo pants pockets and I thought I went through all of them.

Coins, paper money, my nitro pills except for the last time. I think the washer was having a heart attack and ate them all including the bottle.

My Swiss Tech Utili-Key has been through the washer multiple times. It's also been through TSA checks at least 20 times and nobody ever noticed.

No......seems your washer turned them into funny pills.
I'd say my old timer knife has been washed numerous times.

I have this curse of "out of the house" pants, "in the shop" pants, and "lazy" pants so I am really bad. The dumbest was my Zippo but the most common are the little folding utility knives. I tend to drop them in a pocket and... they're gone.
The knives just need a quick dry and oil but boy does one feel like a fool drying, refilling, and replacing the flint on a Zippo that got the laundry treatment.

Package of chewing gum. Makes a sticky job after the dryer. :-[

Bic lighters, tourniquet, Carmex, ear plugs, bandanna and cordage.
-
My pants, shirts, socks, and underwear have all survived and are still in regular use for EDC.
-
Traditional Swiss Army knives sail right through without a problem for me. I don’t know how some of the newer ones with the harder steels would do, but the old stainless steel stuff really is stainless.

Ugh......I'd more than likely be dead meat if I left gum in my jeans... :-\

It's not too bad......just cut out the sticky spot and resew the opening. ;D
