New to Firearms...Looking for Suggestions for my 1st Handgun!

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANKS to everyone who has been contributing to this thread!
It has been extremely helpful.
As i mentioned i live in Manitoba (Canada). As some one above mentioned, i should look at used firearms, sadly, I have not come across much in the way of used firearms. However, a good friend of mine has recommended several websites (1 in particular) that specialize in selling used firearms (all located within canada). So i have began the process of getting in contact with the indivdiuals at these websites to inquire about their stock...
And thus far i am finding some WICKED deals.
Some great used firearms (and some of these are practically NEW) at great prices...
I will keep you posted!
