(1/2) > >>

Johnny MAX!:
I was reading posts on a wild hog forum and I ran across this great post. The guy said when he field dresses a wild hog he goes ahead and bleeds the hog them cut it up with... get this he uses a rechargable saws-all. This my be old new here, but it is a great new idea to me. He said that it it perfect, because you can get long blades and they are cheap.
I just had to pass it along, just in case you have not thought about it!

Many many years ago a friend of mine use to salvage dead cows and livestock for the dog food industry.  The sawzall was THE tool to use.  Every effective, quick and efficient!

I have heard the downside to using a sawzitall is that you get bone chips in the meat.

not hardly.  but it depends on the blade you ues and also if you  shave off bits of bone by not cutting  the meat right.  you must scrape the bone meal off the meat.  definetly not "yummo"  to have bone meal on the meat.
