Can a Zero-Energy Home be affordable

I'd like to see more homes incorporate affordable Solar Energy into their design.

If you can get a hold of the videos you can glean a lot of useful information towards building your own net zero home.

Granted it's old, but much of the technology is valid, particularly passive solar.
