We have pretty much everything up here, but .22 LR does seem to be about 30-40% higher than it was a few years ago. I`m not sure how much that has to do with our weak dollar (which might account for most of that) versus how the price settled down to a bit above pre-Sandy Hook prices.
Assuming the supply of .22lr originates in the USA, I can tell you that it's settled about 20-30% more expensive than pre-SandyHook.
More specifically the packaging has changed, perhaps as a way to deceived shoppers.
e.g. in 2012 a 525 brick of Federal was $15-20 any day of the week at Wal-Mart or various outdoor stores.
Today you can get a 325 round brick for about $20USD if you are lucky.
So take that ~30% markup in the USA and then apply whatever FX conversion to CDN.
