in Worcester, Mass a nursing home adjacent to UMass University Hospital has been commandeered by the state and is removing all of patients to other nursing homes. My dh used to be Medical Director there and I worked there. Our friends who remain are quite upset by it. They have to work there or lose their jobs. Of course some have underlying health issues, family members who do as well, families they could be exposing.
I suppose it is necessary and we may see more of it. I'm just soo glad dh left there several years ago
