If you had to fuse only one power wire...

Explanation.
I am buildign a portable power bank for my HT.
I have room for only one fuse on it.
IIRC it should be the red (+) wire?

Red. As close to the positive terminal as possible.

It Depends.
I know, people hate that answer.
Generally, ham radios have the metal parts of the case connected to negative (so-called "ground"), and therefore you will only spark or burn if the positive wire touches the case, so fusing the positive makes sense.
