Title: Silver
Post by: williams_79 on March 20, 2010, 10:11:40 AM
I hear that silver can be used as an antiviral and antifungal, it probably brings forth water from a rock and parts the Red Sea too from listening to the guy selling it on the radio here. Is there any truth to the medical claims? Is it as simple as dropping a coin in some water or do I need to get my masters in chemistry and alchemy do use it myself?

Nano silver is being used in several topical dressings.

It is indeed an excellent anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, etc., but like anything else it has its best uses and it's worst.

Snorting colloidal silver will turn you blue or gray--though that takes a while.

It's also used in water purification and purification filters.

I agree that you should NOT drink the colloidal silver solutions.  There are numerous cases where this has caused Blue Skin.

Silver IS an anti-biotic, Anti-viral, anti-fungal however and the best product that I am aware of (and have used for about 10 years) is called Silverlon.  It is basically a nylon mesh coated with silver particles which can be used as a bandage especially on skin that has been burned or scraped raw.  It will speed healing and keep infections from forming. It is even effective against MRSA and other Super Bugs.  Here is the link: (
