I try to get out and camp/backpack as often as i can... sometimes day trips, other times extended days.. I do at least one trip with a buddy of mine from the big city (chicago) Here's bunch of photos from a trip we did back in 2016.

Very nice! You guys get all those scenic vistas out west. I do like the beaches here, but oh the mountains are nice. Thanks for posting that.

yeah, pretty fortunate to live close to all the mountains. Have plenty of high desert vistas and canyons near by.. kind of a desert rat too.
